A proper seal allows the characteristic pressure-wave effect to form. Start with a gentle setting and keep the device fairly still rather than pressing it firmly against the body, as too much pressure can reduce the sensation.

If you want a softer and more fluid sensation, place the Liquid Air silicone cap over the opening before positioning the device on the clitoris. The thin membrane responds to the pulses and creates a sensation designed to resemble moving water. You can then add vibration and select from 5 speeds or 7 vibration patterns, using it alone or together with the pressure-wave function.

A small amount of water-based lubricant around the rim can help create a comfortable fit and improve the seal. Position the stimulation opening snugly around the clitoris without pressing firmly into sensitive tissue, as excessive pressure may reduce the Air Pulse effect and cause discomfort. Use water-based lubricant around the rim if needed for a smoother seal. Safety first. This information is general in nature only and is not medical or professional advice; it does not account for your individual circumstances. Keep them in a clean, dry location away from excessive heat and direct sunlight. Use a compatible water-based lubricant rather than silicone-based products to help protect the silicone surface. The opening should sit snugly around the clitoris so the pressure changes can work effectively, while pressing too firmly may weaken the sensation. I can begin with gentle Air Pulse pressure waves, introduce vibration once sensitivity increases, or change to the Liquid Air attachment when I want a softer pulsing sensation. That variation makes it useful for teasing and edging because I can change how stimulation feels without having to change devices.

The Liquid Air attachment interests me most from a training perspective because its thin silicone membrane changes the character of the pressure waves. Instead of simply moving from low to high intensity, I can switch between different types of stimulation. That unpredictability can make it more difficult for a submissive to settle into one familiar pattern, which gives me more control over pacing and anticipation.

The 11 pressure-wave programs, 5 vibration speeds and 7 vibration patterns also provide enough range for slow progression. I prefer beginning below the intensity a submissive expects and increasing stimulation gradually rather than immediately selecting the strongest setting. The waterproof design is another useful feature because it broadens where the device can be incorporated while making cleanup straightforward after a session.

See this and similar tools in action across my 300+ training videos on the BDSM Australia channel.

How it compares

Feature

Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3

Standard clitoral vibrator

Air-pulse stimulator

Stimulation type

Air Pulse + Liquid Air + vibration

Direct vibration

Pressure-wave stimulation

Customisation options

11 pressure-wave programs, 5 vibration speeds and 7 patterns

Usually several vibration speeds and patterns

Usually several pressure-wave intensity levels

Attachments

Two — standard Air Pulse and Liquid Air

Usually fixed stimulation head

Usually one pressure-wave head

Waterproof rating

IPX7

Varies by model

Varies by model

Charging

Rechargeable via USB-C; cable not included

Rechargeable or battery powered

Usually rechargeable

Why you'll reach for it

Choose the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3 when you want more than one form of clitoral stimulation from the same device.
